The Mountain Artists Community Art Grants Program is here to help you explore your artistic dreams! We provide financial support to Teller County residents who want to dive into the visual arts throughout the beautiful Pikes Peak Region. Whether you're picking up clay or paintbrush for the first time or looking to master a new technique, we're excited to be part of your creative journey.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from adults and high school students (age 14+) living in Teller County who have a genuine interest in art and creative exploration. If you're curious about trying something new or deepening existing skills, we'd love to hear from you!

Simple Requirements

Live in Teller County and be at least 14 years old
Show genuine interest in exploring art forms
Be ready to enroll in art classes within the Pikes Peak Region

What You Could Receive

Up to $250 per year to cover tuition and supply fees for art classes, workshops, or programs at recognized art centers in the Pikes Peak Region. We award grants on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't wait to apply!

What Happens Next?

Fast Decisions: We'll review your application and get back to you within 14 days.

Get Started: Once approved, you have 14 days to register for your chosen class and send proof to treasurer@themountainartists.org.

Share Your Success: After completing your class, we’ll need to see a photo of your project within a month! It's exciting for us to witness the amazing things our grant recipients create.

If plans change and you need to withdraw from your class, we simply ask that you return the grant funds to Mountain Artists.

Our Program Administrator works closely with the Mountain Artists Board of Directors to review applications fairly and ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to participate.
