Join Us! Creativity Thrives with Collaboration!

Celebrating Creativity in Our Community.

In the crisp autumn of 1989, a small collective of local artists gathered, united by a shared vision of artistic creativity. What began as an informal gathering gradually evolved into the Mountain Artists, a dynamic non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating a vibrant arts community.

Over the years, our membership expanded, drawing talented creators across various artistic disciplines. Our mission crystallized around supporting local artists, providing exhibition opportunities, offering educational workshops, and hosting the renowned annual Mountain Arts Festival. From a modest meetup, we have grown into a cornerstone cultural institution committed to preserving and promoting the incredible artistic breadth of our mountain region.
